Strigoi Mort was a short-lived project by Kyprian's Circle mastermind Kyprian Nurmi and as far as I know released only this one tape. Which I received, with cover scans, from comrade Grev. Thanks once again! Dubbed from his original tape to me, the sound and dub quality are good. However, the low sound volume of the original tape is quite notable. I decided against upping the volume too much as this amplifies the hissing and other "tape ambiance" too much.

Music on this short (just over 8 minutes) demo is slow and atmospheric metal, different enough from his main band to justify a separate project. The percussion is provided by a session member, other instruments and the clean-ish vocals are performed by Kyprian himself. The vocals are not the best I've heard but they do their job and the style fits the music. Recommended for fans of Kyprian's Circle and atmospheric music.

Here, after a long search, is finally the first Kyprian's Circle demo contributed by comrade Barghest (colehawlins) a while ago so big thanks to him! This is his rip and includes cover & flyer scans. Good quality rip of an original tape. The intro will be familiar to K.C. fans and the music is in the same vein as on the later releases. I guess I should write something more but I'm in a hurry so I just recommend you to download this!

First off, this is not my rip ...as you might have figured out yourselves since I was looking for the demos myself. Thanks to Ossi, who had downloaded this from who knows where and kindly uploaded & linked it for me, now I'm only missing the 1996 demo. I decided to share this one in the meantime. I seem to be unable to find a better picture of the covers than that piece of shit from Metal Archives so I'm afraid it'll have to do. Maybe I should've scanned a flyer for the demo instead.

This demo (and the 1st one) has lyrics in English and features Shatraug of Horna & the Satanic Tyrant Werewolf formerly known as Nazgul as session vocalists. Get it already.

Kyprian's Circle was a lesser known Finnish black metal band/project, led by Kyprian and supported by a selection of session members, best known being Nazgul/Satanic Warmaster who does the vocals on the "Noitatulen Vartija" MCD. I'm not sure if this is the 2nd or the 3rd demo, anyways it's a 1997 demo which I, curiously enough, purchased from a record store, Levykauppa Äx in Kuopio in 1997. I must say I prefer SW's vocals to the session guy here. Cool stuff nevertheless and I'd like to receive the other two demos as well, so drop me a line if you have them.
