Blasphemous (swe) - Rehearsal 22.04.1995
Blasphemous (swe) - Rehearsal 22nd April 1995
1) Whispers from the Woods
2) Hacked Out of Ice
3) Hidden of Black Clouds
Reuploaded
I decided to stick to the rehearsal tapes and here's more black metal sent me by brother Grev. Thanks & praises! You may remember Blasphemous from this earlier post and much of what was then written applies to this recording as well. I personally think this rehearsal sounds slightly superior to the promo tape as it's less murky (even if this has its flaws and age showing too) but as it is an old rehearsal tape it might sound like white noise to the casual listener. The music is here "more obviously" black metal than the old material, cold and harsh like northern wind in January. Tracks 1 and 3 are familiar from other releases, their 1995 demo and 1994 rehearsal/demo respectively and track 2 seems exclusive to this, unless renamed. Recommended and I'm interested in hearing the reh/demo 1994, "The Obscurity Over Golgotha" demo 1995 and a better rip of "The Eternal Journey" demo would be also welcome.

Killer!
Here are two requests, tough ones, thanks!
from Sweden's
Winter Moon - The Chronicles of Life In Four Parts
Wrath - Among the Cold Winds
Thanks for your comment!
Wrath can be done later, brother Grev has that. WM is harder, haven't seen that one anywhere myself.
Hey, do you have Skogen zine # 2 and # 3? Great zine from the mid 90's and the most in depth interviews I have ever read, especially # 3, classic interviews with Darken, Nergal, Dim Nagel, Dawn etc, tons of killer stuff. I can upload them onto mediafire and contribute. It will take some time because they are over 60 pages each, or something like that. Do you ever read them?
@Anonymous:
I have only one issue of Skogen myself, the editor of the 'zine Sasha wrote a couple of comments some time ago and said he could scan the 'zines. But as he's very busy it hasn't been done yet.
I'd certainly appreciate the effort if you would be willing to do that so please go ahead if you have time in your hands for it!
This one's real good, thanks!
@'Owl:
You're welcome, I'd really like to hear the last demo myself.
@Kurgan:
I think I have issue 3, it had Graveland and Behemoth at least on it. To be honest, I'd really prefer someone else's scan over doing one myself because:
1) my scanner isn't exactly state-of-the-art
2) I'm lazy
So at least for the moment I'll await to see if I get scans of it, if not I might do it myself.
@Kurgan:
I am quite responsive to incentives, so I'll have a look how well the issue comes out with my scanner. :) However, this will take some time.
I've a couple of the new Wheresmyskin issues but haven't read the old ones so I'd be very interested in them, naturally. Which ones do you have? 666 I'm not personally familiar with, this is from the 90's?
@Kurgan:
I have WMS 10 too but 7 would be interesting to read. 666 would fit very well to the blog, being from late 90's/early 00's.
I'm going to see if I can get better scans done at work, if yes I'll do the Skogen issue and some others too.
@Kurgan:
Thanks for the 666 issues! I'll have a look at 'em when I return home.
@Kurgan:
Thank you again, I will remove these posts and you can delete the links now! Looks like they were good, I'll see how I can do with Skogen at work tomorrow night.
@Kurgan:
A person is scanning Skongen#3 for me so I didn't try that at work, however I scanned issue 4 of Finnish Kill Yourself!!! from 1995. I will be posting that later. I don't unfortunately have either TSS#2 or Dauthus#3 - perhaps one of the readers might have them.
