We keep to the American continents, moving northward to Mexico and here is the second demo of the infamous Funereal Moon. 17 tracks for almost an hour, they combine dark, blackened ambient and ritualistic sounds to ugly black metal parts for a really hideous result. Certainly not recommendable for everyone, but the poisonous atmospheres will please those who enjoy material like LLN's ambient projects, Abruptum and similar bands, or maybe just plain old grim low-fi black metal.

Ripped from an original tape I got from one distro or another so the sound quality is good and a scan of the cover is included. This was the second version of the demo, released by Dark Silence. I guess the division of the styles here might be about 2/3 ambient material and 1/3 of black metal. The metal tracks tend to be quite short and simple bursts, like the 2½ minute "Celestial Lucifer" which works better than you might believe as the ambient pieces are where the darkness really resides in. I've found myself enjoying the twisted journey, even if wasn't very pleased with the release when I originally got it 1996. Give it a try and decide for yourself!

This one I believe is super rare and limited! Thanks again!
Asmodian Coven is like my second home now, ha ha!

Thank you comrade anonymous, I'm glad you enjoy the material. It is an uncommon treat but obviously it merits for naught if none enjoy it - or if the participants do not serve Him.

All hail Satan.

Hi again Velkaarn (I'm the same guy as above),
I've gotten so much good stuff from your blog that I feel like I should give something back. Unfortunately, the only thing I have that I could upload for you from your want list is Yamatu "Shurpu Asaru - The Book of Asaru (I Through IV, Abridged)". I don't know if you already have this one (it's the 2004 cd reissue Ultima Comparatio Productions did of the Shurpu Asaru CDR, also released by them in 2000), as you just mention "Yamatu material" on your wants.
If you want it, I'll be more than glad to upload it for you, and you could post it on your blog so every other reader can get it as well.
Ave Satana!

Hail comrade J.

Finding any Yamatu material seem hard so I'd very glad to receive the CDR from you - of course I need to make sure it is not available from some nook or cranny before I'd post it!

Anyways, I liked the song on the compilation comrade TD posted on Lockjaw. I'm very curious to hear what you have!

Alright then! Just give me between 30 mins and 1 hour (my upload speed sucks) and I'll post the Megaupload link in here with a nice 320kbps rip.

As promised, here it is:
Yamatu "Shurpu Asaru - The Book of Asaru (I Through IV, Abridged)" CD 2004
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5C48HXLD

The guy behind Yamatu (and his brother) is behind several music projects with occult subjects and VERY suiting music. If you like creepy, ritualistic stuff, you should definitely check out Hexentanz. I doubt the cd is still available, as it was very limited, but you can d/l it from here:

Some truly wicked stuff, like an Witches Sabbath in the 1400's recorded on cd.
Enjoy,

J.
