Sacrilegeous Excrement - Demo 1/93

Sacrilegeous Excrement - Demo 1/93
1) SSSSK (The Unpleasant Smell of Green Cranial Amoeba Slime)
2) Putrefaction (of Souls)
3) Dissection of Cornea
4) The Dimension Called "Hell"
5) Reversing Diffusion pt.II

Mediafire / RGhost

I guess you are now expecting something horrible and vile sounding. Well, this contribution by brother Suuret Muinaiset - thank you again - comes close even if it's not quite as foul as I might have promised. This is the 1993 demo by Sacrilegeous Excrement which evolved/changed name to Sacrilegeous, familiar already to some readers of the blog. Covers included and they're again something to look at. Note that SM called this just demo 1/93 but the cover would appear to have an additional title but it's pretty hard to make out what it is supposed to be... "Dissection of Incoherent Universes" is my current best guess. I would love to read your suggestions!

To the music: it's just as weird ass stuff you'd expect if you've heard master Necrodesecrator's later work. Which I feel I must upload more soon, it just needs to be shared. The sound is crude and unrefined, rehearsal-like yet very clear. Practically same as on the Sacrilegeous demos to be honest. The music is a rather bizarre, crude, raw and somehow alien-feeling mixture of death metal, black metal touches and experimental, possibly partially accidental, songwriting. It can't be called good or catchy yet it has strange appeal. Perhaps I'm totally losing it, perhaps I am nearing enlightenment. You should probably experience it for yourself. Cautiously recommended.

*stands up and claps like Charles Foster Kane*

This is some prime garbage you've unearthed here, Velkaarn, and from surprisingly long ago. The incomprehensible/crossed out j-card is simply a thing of beauty. The sounds are beyond that. Thank you, my friend, I had no idea how much I wanted to hear something like this again until I finished it.

If you like weird pesudo-black crap like this, you might want to check out Abu Lahab:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/38h2dpxkbvxndp9/Abu+Lahab+-+As+Chastened+Angels+Descend+Into+The+Thoracic+Tombs+%282011%29.rar

It lacks the demo quality and competence (ha!) of SE, but it's similarly as bonkers in it's conception.

October Foggy is more demo-like; it sounds like a bunch of kids banging pans & screaming over black metal instrumentals, though it's strangely captivating. You should already have a link, heheheh...

And hell, why not check out my weirdass jokeBM thing:

It's only a <4min. demo, I promise your ears won't bleed too much. You'll never look at a leather bike seat the same way again.

I was sure this would be of interest to several parties and rest assured, there will be more!

Thanks (? ...maybe) for the Abu Lahab link, I'll give it a shot when I get back home. And yes indeed I have a rip of October Foggy stuff, I have just kind of forgotten it lying in a WIP folder (as it's ripped as side a & side b I feel obligated to separate it into tracks). I will also check out that last thing since you promise my ears won't bleed.

Velkaarn. Thanks for this. I've already have it an original tape, but I don't need to rip it ;)

About Sacrilegious... I have something exclusive & unreleased stuff from the band... 8 tracks and about 30min + couple of demos

Velkaarn, so this is a demo was released before they changed the name on Sacrilegeous? If I understand correctly, this group existed after? http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sacrilegeous/39269

Holy shit this post has blossomed into an unimaginable quagmire of ridiculousness! Just when we thought this SE business was the most incomprehensible mess yet found festering in the alley, tossed out from an nearby window comes the even more unhinged Abu Lahab. A perfect storm of WTF-ism.

Thanks (if that's the correct term) must go to Suuret Muinaiset, Anonymous and our ever conspiring host.

Wow, seems everyone went off their meds all at once here.

It's nice to see a post stir up some discussion. :)

@Стас Проклятый:
You should always keep in mind that the info on Metal Archives is user created content and can't be trusted to be correct all of the time... well, more like much of the time.

They started in 1992 under this name and changed to Sacrilegeous in 1993. Message Of The Unreal or M.O.T.U. is not active anymore either as far as I know.

@kingpossum:
I really need to take a listen at that Abu Lahab thing too, as soon as this album I'm listening to now ends.

You might or might not be delighted to know I plan to post Sacrilegeous' demo '94 + CDEP and whatever brother Grev has hidden away in his crypt.

@Grev:
You're welcome! Do you have any idea if the name should actually be something else? Looking forward to see what you have, like you see from above I've got the demo'94 already (from Suuret Muinaiset) and the MCD.

@Velkaarn.
SE released only this one and changed name to Sacrilegeous. M.O.T.U. was an main project of JP (or Necrodesecrator) and it exists BEFORE SE or S!
I don't really know does M.O.T.U. exists anymore, but I have something exclusive material from 1990-2002 from the project.

There's some rumors between those projects, so I'm not sure anymore, but SE is correct information

@Velkaarn, Yes, the metal archives a lot of mistakes, I noticed this myself, but thanks for the explanation, now I know.

Anonyymi kirjoitti...

Hell yeah! I've been a fan of Sacrilegeous for a while and have always been looking for more material. Thank you so much for this!

Velkaarn kirjoitti...

Well then you should be pleased to know more is coming and you're welcome!

Great post! Would love to hear what October Foggy sound like.

@BHZ:

Are you sure? Well, I can have a look at it again on my leisure, it's still lying there waiting for me to divide the tracks up. If possible in the first place.
